Concrete Earth Inspection Pits provide a durable and accessible housing for earth rod terminations in earthing and lightning protection systems. With a 4500kg load rating, they are suitable for heavy-duty applications where permanent access and protection are required. The base is designed to accept a diagonal earth bar (PT006 or PT007) with either 5 or 7 terminations, giving flexibility for multiple conductor installations. This pit allows easy inspection of earth connections while maintaining long-term reliability in harsh environments. Constructed from solid concrete and compliant with BS EN 62561-8:2011, these units are ideal for industrial and commercial use. Due to size and weight, pits are shipped by pallet only—please note delivery charges may apply.
