Hazardous Area Metric-Metric Brass Reducers are ATEX and IECEx certified, designed to safely reduce larger metric threaded entries to accept smaller cable glands in hazardous environments. Ideal for modifying enclosures, junction boxes and equipment where explosive atmospheres may be present.
Precision manufactured from electroless nickel-plated brass, these reducers offer superior corrosion resistance, mechanical strength and reliability. They’re supplied with a fitted sealing washer and rated IP66/IP68 (2m continuous immersion) for excellent ingress protection. With a static operating temperature range of -60°C to 95°C, they’re perfect for petrochemical, offshore and industrial installations demanding safety, durability and compliance.
