Starrett Tungsten Carbide Tipped Sheet Metal (SM) Hole Saws are engineered to cut high alloy and stainless steels, non-ferrous light metals, and reinforced fabrics significantly faster than standard bi-metal saws. Constructed as a solid one piece design complete with arbor and pilot drill, these heavy duty hole saws feature high performance carbide-tipped teeth (TCT) that rapidly remove chips while ensuring exceptional tool life. The safety stop collar at the base limits cutting depth to prevent the saw from pushing through the workpiece, ensuring controlled and consistent drilling operations.

Featuring a split point pilot drill bit, TCT hole saws deliver faster surface penetration and self centring accuracy to keep the drill firmly on target without wandering. A progressive carbide tooth grind combined with a new shallow gullet design minimizes snagging, enhances swarf removal and maximizes tooth strength. The integrated ejector spring automatically ejects the core post cut to streamline high volume production drilling across sheet metals up to 3mm thick.

Ideal for production cutting, especially when using power tools with limited speed control, the Starrett TCT Sheet Metal Hole Saws deliver superior efficiency, reduced heat buildup and extended cutting performance.
