Hazardous Area Metric-Metric Brass Adaptors are ATEX and IECEx certified, making them suitable for use in potentially explosive environments where safety and compliance are critical. Designed to convert smaller threaded metric entries to accept larger cable glands, these adaptors allow safe upgrades or modifications to enclosures, machinery, and electrical devices.
Precision-machined from electroless nickel-plated brass, they offer excellent corrosion resistance and long-term mechanical reliability. Supplied with a fitted sealing washer, they achieve IP66/IP68 protection (2m continuous) and operate within a static temperature range of -60°C to 95°C. Ideal for use in oil & gas, petrochemical, and other hazardous or demanding industrial environments.
