Aluminium Mechanical Lugs 600/1000V provide a reliable, crimp-free method of terminating Copper or Aluminium power cables. Manufactured from high-strength HE30 TF Aluminium alloy, these mechanical lugs are engineered for performance and durability. The design eliminates the need for crimping tools – simply insert the conductor fully and tighten the shear bolts to create a secure, low-resistance connection. Covering conductor sizes from 50mm² to 500mm², just four lug sizes offer wide application flexibility, making them ideal for electrical contractors. Suitable for both stranded and solid sector-shaped conductors, these mechanical lugs are short circuit tested in accordance with BS 4579 Part 3, ensuring compliance and reliability in demanding installations. Operating at temperatures up to 100°C, they deliver long-lasting performance across industrial, utility, and commercial projects.
