HSG1 - Mini Heatshrink Gun

The Flameless Heat Gun is a compact, portable heating tool designed for quick and efficient heatshrink applications. Featuring a piezoelectric self starting ignition system, it operates using the refill cell of a standard disposable lighter (not included),  making it cost-effective. Its windproof flame and waterproof ignition ensure reliable performance in a wide range of environments, including outdoor and industrial settings where traditional electric heat guns may be impractical.
Lightweight and easy to handle, the Iroda heat gun is powered by butane fuel (not included), delivering consistent heat without the need for external power sources. This makes it an ideal tool for DIY, electricians and field engineers requiring a fast, on the go heat source.

Questions & Answers

As a rule of thumb, select a shrink ratio that allows the tube to slide easily over the largest part of your assembly, while still recovering tightly on the smallest section. For general cabling, 2:1 is often sufficient. For uneven shapes or connectors, 3:1 provides a more reliable grip.

Yes, provided the material is suited to the conditions. Standard polyolefin performs up to around 125°C, while PTFE and other fluoropolymers withstand continuous service temperatures of 200 °C or higher. Always check manufacturer datasheets to avoid premature failure.

The key is controlled, even heating. A hot air gun is preferable, applied in a slow rotation to avoid hotspots. Overheating can thin the material or scorch insulation. Keep the heat moving, watch for uniform shrinkage and allow time for cooling before handling.
