Starrett Flat Wood Drill Bits with Hex Shank are engineered for fast, clean and accurate boring through timber, softwoods, hardwoods and composite wood materials. Designed to deliver exceptional cutting speed with a huge reduction in breakout around the hole, individual spade bits provide excellent tool life across high volume wood applications.
The range covers 5 individual trade diameters in a standard 152mm length: 12mm, 16mm, 20mm, 25mm, and 32mm.

Featuring a precision ground spur and cutting edge design, spade bits slice cleanly through wood fibers to minimise breakout and deliver smooth, splinter free hole. Integrated 1/4" hex shank provides optimum power transfer and prevents bit slipping within the drill chuck, ensuring max control and safety during rapid hole opening for cable runs, pipework and structural fixings.

These drill bits are ideal for electricians, plumbers, joiners, and general site installation trades. Each bit is designed to clear chips efficiently to reduce heat buildup and friction, providing smooth, consistent drilling across high volume wood applications.
