ZEBS6 - Channel Nuts - M6 Short Spring

Short spring channel nuts are designed to grip firmly inside the channel while allowing quick positioning without slipping to the bottom of the section. The shorter spring suits shallow channels or installations where there isn’t enough depth for a longer spring to compress fully. Once pressed into place, the spring holds the nut in position so the threaded fixing can be aligned and tightened without juggling components or supporting them from below.

These nuts are commonly used in electrical containment, HVAC brackets, cable management and general hardware where channels are mounted at height and a one handed installation is often the reality. The shorter spring gives a balanced fit: enough pressure to hold position but still easy to slide along the channel when making adjustments.

Manufactured with a bright zinc plated finish and held in stock across M6, M8, M10 and M12 sizes, they provide a dependable option when a standard spring nut is needed but full spring length isn’t practical.

Questions & Answers

Cable cleats are tested to IEC 61914, which sets out performance guidelines for strength, impact resistance, UV stability and corrosion. While not mandatory, reputable manufacturers follow this standard to confirm product reliability and safety. Are your cable cleats tested to IEC 61914?

A cable clamp is a general purpose fastener, while a cable cleat is specifically tested and rated to retain cables under axial, lateral and torsional forces (especially during short circuits)

Yes - accessories like fixing kits, pre cut threaded rod and channel nuts help secure cleats properly to mounting surfaces. Using the right hardware improves strength, alignment and vibration resistance.
