VORTEx Injection Resin CartridgeEnsure a 100% barrier seal with the CCG VORTEx injection resin cartridge, specifically designed for use with A2EX-VX and E1EX-VX barrier cable glands. The unique two-part, instantly mixed and injected resin flows into all cable interstices, displacing air and preventing the transmission of explosive gases and liquids down the cable. This quick-setting, high-tensile viscoplastic barrier provides a reliable and inspectable seal for hazardous area applications.The resin (Part No. X109-114, 24ml) is sold separately from the glands. Please consult our detailed sizing chart to determine how many glands can be terminated with a single cartridge, optimizing your installation efficiency.
The Injection resin flows into all the cable voids and interstices, completely filling the cable end. This forms a 100% barrier to any migration of explosive gases or
fluids down the inside of an unfilled hygroscopic cable. VORTEx® barrier glands are tested and fully comply with the latest IEC Ex standards and installation codes of practice.
