The CCG A2 Cable Gland is engineered for reliable compression gland for Single and Multi-Core unarmored cable in industrial, commercial, and outdoor environments. Built to CCG’s rigorous standards, the gland provides a secure seal against water, dust, and mechanical stress, ensuring long-term cable integrity.
Designed with precision, the A2 gland delivers IP66 and IP68 protection when installed with supplied thread sealing washer. Its unarmoured clamping design simplifies installation and delivers solid cable retention without damaging inner insulation. The gland features a flame-retardant, corrosion-resistant brass construction for high-performance in extreme conditions.
Ideal for indoor and outdoor use, the CCG A2 Cable Gland supports a wide cable range and is supplied with a durable nickel-plated brass finish for extra protection. This product is suitable for use in control panels and power distribution boards where safety and performance are critical.

Single and double compression cable glands differ in their sealing and clamping mechanisms:

Single Compression Glands: These glands provide compression around the outer sheath of the cable, offering basic sealing and strain relief. They are suitable for indoor/outdoor applications where environmental conditions are controlled.

Double Compression Glands: These glands provide compression at both the outer sheath and the inner bedding layer of the cable. This dual compression offers enhanced sealing and strain relief, making them ideal for outdoor or hazardous environments where additional protection is required.

When installing Cable Glands using plain holes and locknuts, the recommended clearance of +0.2 mm above the nominal thread diameter. For example, an M20 gland should be mounted in a 20.2 mm diameter hole. The maximum recommended clearance is +0.7 mm. This ensures a secure fit while allowing easy installation.
