At Remora Electrical, we understand that when it comes to quality cable termination, reliability and safety are paramount. That is why we are proud to offer our comprehensive range of liquid-tight GripLoc nylon cable glands—a convenient, safe, and cost-effective solution designed exclusively to elevate the safety standards of instrumentation and automation systems.
Engineered for professional installers, these premium cable glands are manufactured from ultra-tough nylon, ensuring they hold their own in the most demanding commercial and industrial environments. With GripLoc, your cable terminations will not only meet but exceed international standards, providing ultimate confidence where it matters most.
Andrew Gardner, Product Development Manager at Remora Electrical, explains: “Workplace health and safety is of paramount importance, and it’s often the smallest components that can put workers most at risk. The GripLoc range offers commercial and industrial end-users a definitive solution to installing mechanical cable entry devices that are safe, secure, and reliable.”
Our in-house team of engineers has worked tirelessly to embed the GripLoc range with smart, practical features that streamline installation and protect your infrastructure:
Removable Atmospheric Membrane Seal: This innovative design allows GripLoc-fitted enclosures to remain completely isolated and sealed during the initial assembly or preparation stages. By eliminating the need for temporary plugs, it enables easy pre-fitment and sealing during manufacturing. Once final cable installation is complete, the membrane can be effortlessly removed simply by applying pressure.
Vibration-Lock System: Perfect for dynamic, high-vibration environments, this system features positive ratcheting feedback technology. It ensures that terminations remain perfectly secure over time, completely eliminating the risk of the gland loosening on-site.
Superior Ingress Protection (IP68 & IP69K): To achieve a 100% water and dust-tight interface capable of withstanding over 10 bar of pressure, the glands feature a purpose-built channel along the lip of the seal. This utilizes interlocking retention tabs to prevent the seal from dislodging from the gland body, while simultaneously augmenting 'pull-out' resistance and reducing bulging.
To ensure maximum ingress protection immediately on-site, every GripLoc cable gland comes supplied complete with a pre-fitted EPDM O-ring and locknut. For high-intensity, demanding outdoor environments, the black GripLoc variants also offer UL F1 protection, meeting stringent UV resistance and immersion requirements.
Suitable for a myriad of applications—from light commercial installations to heavy-duty manufacturing machinery—the GripLoc range delivers the ultimate in safety, confidence, and reliability.
The range is available now in a selection of colours, including black, grey, red, and white, with configurations spanning from Metric M12 entry threads right up to PG48.
