At Remora Electrical, we have built a reputation over more than 50 years for delivering reliability, efficiency, and confidence straight to the job site. We are proud to highlight our premium range of industrial-grade ArmaKit brass cable glands—offered for sale exclusively in the United Kingdom by Remora Electrical Limited. Engineered to combine cost-effective economy with uncompromised responsibility, the ArmaKit collection provides a definitive solution for secure and highly functional cable termination.
While many standard options on the market rely on sand-cast alternatives, our premium range is precision manufactured using ultra-durable extruded brass rod produced to BS 2874 CZ121 Pb3. This premium copper/zinc alloy ensures the highest manufacturing tolerances are met while offering maximum mechanical resistance against on-site impact and shearing stress.
Andrew Gardner, Product Development Manager at Remora Electrical, emphasizes: “Compromising on quality can spell disaster for commercial and industrial sites. ArmaKit brass cable glands provide a cost-effective solution which avoids the concessions that are typically made with ‘economy’ kits.”
Designed to accommodate a comprehensive range of typical cable sizes from 7.0mm up to 78.0mm OD, the industrial-grade ArmaKit range fully conforms to strict British and International standards, including BS 6121-1:2005, EN 50262, and EN 60529.
The range is highly versatile, offering specialized variants tailored to exact site environment demands:
Taking into account the stringent Health & Safety requirements for modern public buildings, all Remora ArmaKit glands are supplied with dip-moulded PVC Low Smoke and Fume (LSF) shrouds as standard, which have been rigorously tested to UL94 V1.
Specially formulated from advanced low-halogen compounds, these pliable materials actively reduce the risk of smoke and toxic acid fume inhalation during an incident. Furthermore, practical feedback from engineers and installers has shown that the increased flexibility of these high-grade shrouds makes them markedly easier to work with and manipulate during fast-paced on-site installations.
To streamline the ordering process and maximize assembly efficiency, all ArmaKit cable glands are supplied in complete, pre-packaged kits. Standard kits up to size M32 include two glands, two locknuts, two earth tags, and two LSF shrouds, while sizes from M40 up to M75 contain one of each component.
Every kit is encased in strong, presentable 500-gauge printed polyethylene bags and boxes complete with clear sizing charts, application criteria, and thread specifics printed directly on the packaging. Orders are expertly dispatched in robust double-wall cartons via express next-day courier to ensure your project stays on schedule.
