The ArmaKit® Metallic Cable Gland is built for safe, secure termination of unarmoured / flex cables in industrial and commercial installations. Designed for use in power distribution, control panels, and heavy-duty outdoor enclosures, this gland delivers durable performance you can rely on.

Made from high-quality nickel-plated brass, the ArmaKit® gland offers strong mechanical retention and excellent corrosion resistance. It’s available in a range of thread types and sizes, including metric and PG, and supports both indoor and outdoor applications with robust ingress protection.

Designed to include an effective wide sealing range, reliable continuity, and a smooth, clean installation process. The gland also provides sealing at both cable entry and outer sheath, reducing the risk of water or dust ingress and maintaining long-term cable integrity.

Single and double compression cable glands differ in their sealing and clamping mechanisms:

Single Compression Glands: These glands provide compression around the outer sheath of the cable, offering basic sealing and strain relief. They are suitable for indoor/outdoor applications where environmental conditions are controlled.

Double Compression Glands: These glands provide compression at both the outer sheath and the inner bedding layer of the cable. This dual compression offers enhanced sealing and strain relief, making them ideal for outdoor or hazardous environments where additional protection is required.

Yes - Specific types of cable glands are designed for use in hazardous area environments. These glands are constructed to prevent the ingress of flammable gases or dust and are often certified to standards such as ATEX or IECEx, ensuring safety in explosive atmospheres. When installing Cable Glands using plain holes and locknuts, the recommended clearance of +0.2 mm above the nominal thread diameter. For example, an M20 gland should be mounted in a 20.2 mm diameter hole. The maximum recommended clearance is +0.7 mm. This ensures a secure fit while allowing easy installation.
